With over 20 years in technology, I’ve grown from a software engineer to roles in solution architecture, product management, and team leadership.
My career has taken me from 50-person startups to large corporations with over 10,000 employees, giving me insight into scaling teams and operations up and down.
I’ve primarily worked in data-related fields across various industries and have now settled in the Netherlands.
I work with engineers to deliver technology that supports the company’s real business needs without overcomplicating things.
My job requires an understanding of shifting business priorities and the ability to communicate across levels. I bring clarity and focus to engineering and data teams and ensure that technical decisions align with both short- and long-term business goals.
As a leader of teams, I am responsible for hiring, coaching, and supporting engineers and their leads, helping them grow, perform, and align with business objectives.
I also oversee critical and complex cross-department projects from start to finish.
Alongside these responsibilities, I continuously optimize delivery and maintenance processes, improve efficiency, expenses, and measure outcomes, staying hands-on with architecture. Managing budgets, evaluating tools for build vs. buy decisions, and handling vendor relationships and negotiations have also been integral parts of my work.
